From here each teacher takes the lead in pursuing their own academic objectives
(as designated by the student's current level of ability), in order to meet
the standards of their students' needs as well as the therapeutic objectives
designated in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Plans of Care
(POCs).The need for a therapeutic/academics curricula is underscored by the
existence of children with behavioral and learning difficulties.
