Answer: Absolutely! That is in essence why this website

To give you a general idea, universities and colleges pay $3,000 (plus travel
and accommodations) for a big performance and a smaller workshop or two.
High schools pay less, especially if they are close by. Libraries and coffee
shops make similar arrangements.
